Property-related Capital Expenditure

The table below provides an overview of the property-related capital expenditure made by the company throughout the fiscal year.

In the “acquisitions” category, the previous year was largely characterized by the acquisitions of BUWOG and Victoria Park. In 2019, growth in Sweden was primarily suppressed by the acquisition of the Akelius Residential Property portfolio and of Hembla AB.

Investments in development more than doubled in 2019 compared with the previous year. There was an additional increase in the like-for-like portfolio from € 1,006.0 million in 2018 to € 1,117.6 million in 2019 (+11.1%).
